DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SURFACE PREPARATION: IMPORTANT NOTES: Do not use No-Rinse Concrete Etch on limestone as the product will dissolve the limestone. Always test in an inconspicuous area to ensure desired results. Protect foliage and all applicable surrounding areas including wood, aluminum, glass, asphalt, vinyl siding, and painted surfaces. No-Rinse Concrete Etch is an adhesion promoter, not a cleaner. For cleaning surfaces, use MasonrySaver Safer Brick & Masonry Cleaner.
APPLICATION
When etching concrete surfaces, DO NOT dilute No-Rinse Concrete Etch. For other less porous surfaces, such as porcelain, glass or tile, dilute product 4:1 with water.
Caution: When diluting product with water slowly add the product to the water while stirring. Never add water to the product. Apply only with a mop, tight nap roller or a pad painter. DO NOT SPRAY OR BREATHE THE FUMES. Allow sufficient time for No-Rinse Concrete Etch to fully dry prior to applying a sealer.
Drying Time: 15 – 30 minutes, depending upon conditions.
Clean Up: Clean brushes and rollers with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
Coverage: 200-400 square feet per gallon on concrete. 800 - 1,000 square feet per gallon on smooth surfaces such as porcelain, glass and tile.
Note: Coverage rates will vary based on the porosity of the substrate.
PRECAUTIONS
DANGER: CAUSES SKIN BURNS & EYE DAMAGE. Contains a chemical that is suspected of causing adverse reproductive effects. Keep container closed. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not take internally. The use of chemical splash gloves and a NIOSH approved respirator is highly recommended when using this product. Wear eye protection. Dispose of contents/container to comply with applicable local, national, and international regulations.
DANGER!
Keep out of reach of children. Contains ammonium bifluoride and ethylene glycol. Prevent contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes, belts and other items that cannot be decontaminated. Wear chemically impervious gloves, chemical splash goggles and face shield when using this product. Inhalation, swallowing or skin contact may result in severe burns and fluoride poisoning. Medical attention is required. CALL A POISON CENTER or go to a hospital emergency department.
FIRST AID
IF INHALED: Remove to fresh air. Get immediate medical attention. SKIN CONTACT: Flush exposed skin immediately with large amount of water for 15 minutes. Get immediate medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush with water for at least 20 minutes, holding eyelids open. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do after the first 5 minutes and then continue flushing. Get immediate medical attention. IF SWALLOWED: DO NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to a person who is unconscious or drowsy. Get immediate medical attention.
