MasonrySaver® Interior Brick Finish is a durable, water-based, clear, acrylic coating designed to dustproof and add sheen to interior brick & masonry walls. It minimizes brick dust on interior brick & masonry walls, making them easier to clean and giving them an attractive satin sheen. MasonrySaver Interior Brick Finish can be used on most types of above-grade, vertical, interior masonry surfaces including: brick, stone, stucco, adobe, and moderately dense substrates. Amount of sheen created is dependent on surface porosity and the number of coats applied.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Before use, read all directions for preparation, application, and safety information. Always test each type of surface before application for suitability and desired results before proceeding with general application. Surface and air temperatures should be a minimum of 40°F and a maximum of 100°F for three hours following application.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface to receive application should be clean and dry. Absorbed moisture should not be present. New construction should cure for a period of no less than 28 days and should be clean and dry. If necessary, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, oil, wax, curing compounds, efflorescence, coatings, and other foreign materials. The surface may need to be swept and/or washed to remove the above mentioned foreign materials in order to expose a clean and sound surface. Chemicals or other cleaning compounds used to facilitate the removal of these foreign materials must be removed thoroughly before applying the product.
APPLICATION
Mix thoroughly before use. Apply two uniform coats of material to masonry surfaces with a brush and roller, or airless sprayer. Allow the first coat to dry completely, approximately two hours, before applying the second coat. Reapply second coat in the same manner as in the first coat. In the case of extremely porous substrates, additional applications may be necessary. Use soap and water to remove drips or overspray as soon as possible.
Coverage Rate: Approximately 80-150 sq. ft. per gallon. Coverage rates will vary depending on surface porosity. Do not thin product.
Note: MasonrySaver Interior Brick Finish goes on a milky white color but dries to a clear finish. Over-application of material may cause increased darkening of surface. Product will cause stains left on surface being treated to darken. Remove all stains before applying.
Storage and Disposal: Do not store below 32° F. Dispose of this container and any unused product in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Dry Time: Surface will be dry to touch in 1-2 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.
Cleanup: Clean tools immediately after each use with soap and water.
PRECAUTIONS
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid breathing mists. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash hands and exposed skin after use. Accumulation of product on ladders, scaffolding, floors, etc. may result in a slippery surface.
FIRST AID
IF INHALED: Remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if symptoms persist. SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists. EYE CONTACT: Flush with water for several minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists. IF SWALLOWED: DO NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Our recommendations for use of this product are based upon tests believed to be reliable. Since field conditions vary widely, the user must determine the suitability of the product for the particular use and specific method(s) of application. Due to the fact that SaverSystems has no control over surface preparation and application methods, no guarantee as to results is offered, expressed or implied. SaverSystems warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects. SaverSystems’ liability shall be limited in all events to supplying enough product to re-treat the specific areas to which defective product was applied. This warranty does not include the cost of labor application. SaverSystems shall not have any other liability including direct, incidental, or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
